Standard crate · series BFS-2026

What leaves the bay on a full engagement.

Every crate carries a packing list. Items are ticked when filed — not when promised. This is the default list for a campaign crate; sprints and audits carry subsets marked on your quote letter.

The packing list is a scope tool. If an item is not ticked, it was not in scope — not forgotten. Clients receive the list at kick-off and again at close-out. Finance teams use it to match deliverables to purchase orders without interpreting creative jargon.

Revision rounds are listed on a separate slip attached to the crate lid: typically two rounds for narrative, two for production, unless your fitting specifies otherwise. Extra rounds can be booked as add-on bay time; we do not silently absorb unlimited changes.

Digital files ship via encrypted link with thirty-day access; you are responsible for copying into your asset management system. Printed matter ships hand-delivered in Singapore or couriered regionally. We retain archive copies for twelve months unless your contract requires deletion — see Privacy.

To discuss which items your brief needs, see Fittings or email [email protected]. The Hangar page describes what happens in each bay before items reach the list.

Crate variants

Sprint crates tick the first three lines only — position, spine, channel pack — plus the accession index. Proof sessions tick audit report lines not shown here. Retainers tick stewardship items monthly while narrative lines rotate based on what shipped that month.

Custom crates exist for regulated launches: extra compliance columns, bilingual filing, extended legal review windows. Those lines are added to the packing list before kick-off, initialled by both parties, and pinned beside the proof wall so nobody asks for out-of-scope work without reopening scope.

When your crate closes, you receive a digital index mirroring the ticks on this page. Keep it with your purchase order. Future agencies will thank you — and your stewardship reviews will run faster because everyone shares the same vocabulary.

Physical crates still exist for print-heavy engagements — foam corners, stencil numbers, courier labels. Digital-first clients receive the same index without wood. The metaphor holds because versioning behaves like freight: one manifest, many cartons, nothing ships without a tick.

Insurance on physical materials is the client's responsibility once the crate leaves the roll gate. We photograph contents at packing time for dispute resolution. Temperature-sensitive items are rare in marketing archives but we store paper off the concrete on pallets.

Returned crates are reused — stencils painted over, labels peeled. Sustainability is incidental; thrift is operational. Gillman Barracks has always been a reuse district.

Version tags use YYMMDD plus initial — 260814-J means Joyce approved on 14 August 2026. Multiple approvers append initials rather than replacing, so email chains do not overwrite each other silently.

Archived crates move to high shelving after twelve months. Retrieval is free once for stewardship clients; otherwise billed as bay time because finding physical boxes still takes human legs.

Digital crates never expire on our side at twelve months — only physical wood does. Links deactivate unless renewed; ask finance if you need extended access for audits.

Courier pickups require someone in the bay to sign — schedule them during studio hours so crates are not left in the courtyard unattended.

International clients receive digital crates only unless print is explicitly scoped — customs delays are outside our control once carriers take possession.

Packaging materials are recycled when possible — foam reused, labels stripped, wood restacked for the next engagement.

Each crate line maps to a hangar bay — read Hangar before questioning why production waits on narrative.

Tick marks on the packing list are CSS spans on this page — not checkboxes you submit. Your signed PDF at kick-off is the legal record.
